Espana

On our way to Barcelona, we made several stops to break up the long trip.
First, we got out and walked around at a Roman aqueduct in Vers-Pont-du-Gard, France. It was really fun to see such an ancient piece of engineering and to be able hike up the hill. Some of the group decided to cool off in the river.

After a relaxing morning, we got back on the road and then stopped at the Arena of Nimes in Nimes, France.

He agreed to come down, but wasn't very happy about it.

Riley was VERY cautious.

The other kiddos walked around the top of the entire arena. They scared me to death!

We hit a lot of traffic on the way in to Barcelona and were late to dinner. We finally arrived at the Tapas restaurant and enjoyed our last dinner with our friends. Sadly, we'd be leaving in the morning. It was bittersweet for sure. The hotel in Barcelona was my favorite. We slept in two twin beds that weren't made up as one and cranked the ac down to 18 degrees Celsius. In the middle of the night, Daniel and I both woke up freezing, but it was a great night's sleep! Tomorrow is our last day in Europe. We'll spend the morning with our group and then be on our way to the airport. We're so sad to be going home, but soooo ready to see our Honey.
