Fall is Here

November 1.
I love seeing the creations my boy makes for me while he's at school. I also REALLY enjoy that while he's away, my house looks so crazy clean. It certainly does not last long at all. Parker is all about Daddy the moment he walks in the door from work. They have such a sweet relationship and watching them be silly together never gets old. New this week -- no more high chair! Parker is sitting in a big boy chair at dinner and he looks and feels so grown up.




November 2.
Lots of playing at the park lately. We're running together and Parker's "reward" for sitting in the stroller for so long is to end up sliding before we head home. I'm so proud of how well he maneuvers the steps up and slides down alone. 



November 3.
 Today we headed to the Kirk's to celebrate Linley girl's birthday. All the kiddos donned aprons and made their own little pizza. It was adorable. Parker was most concerned with playing ball and I enjoyed some grown up talk since Daniel has been out of town hunting all weekend.









 November 4.
Since it's just us, I thought we'd do something we both love. Parker and I headed to SeaWorld for a few hours this afternoon. He wasn't too sure about feeding the dolphins. I think it scares them that they're willing and able to get so close. I typically don't take him to a show, but today I did and he was just mesmerized by all that was taking place. I can't wait until he's even bigger and can ask questions. I never ever regret some animal lovin' with my sweet boy. It always promises to be a fun time.









November 5.
Hanging out at home...preparing for Veteran's Day and honoring Parker's Chief and Parker at school. 



November 6.
It's election day. I was so excited to color in my paper map...and then my bubble was burst when Daniel discovered "there's an app for that". If course! Parker is getting much better at his puzzles. I laughed tonight when he tried so hard to make the little duck fit in the big duck's place. I have my very first "race" approaching and will be running in the Color Run in Houston soon. I made my very own tutu to wear so that I'm all decked out in color. I'm excited my running buddies will also have one. Can't wait!
