Sunday - 13th:
While we were in Houston, my California friend Annemarie and her boys were in Katy visiting AM's parents. I couldn't handle the thought of being so close and not popping over to say hi. Fortunately, Annemarie and her folks didn't mind us crashing in on their afternoon. We drove over and the boys swam in the pool a little. Parker and Burke played on the slide and with B's Cars and Planes die cast toys. AM's parents made hot dogs and after lunch and a few photos, we were back on the road to SA. I'm so grateful for mama friends, and I'm so glad that distance doesn't matter at all. Look at our cute boys.
Monday - 14th:
At not even four months old, Pierce is getting better and better at sitting up. I don't know why he wants to be so big, so fast. After such a busy few days it was nice to relax and play at home today.

Back to our usual Tuesday school and soccer routine. Parker and I opened a kiwi crate this afternoon and he absolutely loved putting together his camp fire craft. It's fun that Parker loves to create things. I'm not very good at coming up with craft like activities for us to do together. For a very fair price, this cute green box finds our door step -- addressed to Parker. It's perfect.
Wednesday - 16th: Another school day for Parker, target run for a few things and Kali's birthday party this afternoon. I love watching Pierce in this jumper. He's starting to enjoy it more and more.

The house is being cleaned this morning so we needed to get out of the way while the cleaning service does their thing. For just $10, we could play at PeeWeeBees for a few hours. Parker really enjoys this place. Pierce napped just a little for me while we were there - always a good thing. I love this pic of my boys in their pjs. Before I know it, they'll be having bed time stories snuggled up together. Time: slow down.

Friday - 18th:
The boys and I spent day at home since Daniel and I had a special date with Parker planned. Tonight was the release of Planes Fire and Rescue. It's been several months of sharing mama and daddy and Parker has adjusted beautifully but we thought he'd love a night without Pierce. We dropped Pierce off at Paren't Night Out and made our way to the theatre. Daniel let Parker play a few games while we waited. We headed to our seats and settled in with our popcorn and sprite. This was Parker's third movie and he did quite well. We still made several bathroom trips and towards the end were asked when the movie would be over. Since we still had some time to kill after the movie, we grabbed a little dinner at Freddy's. I think Daniel and I needed the one on one date with our big boy just as much as Parker did. We had a great time together. I hope we're able to do something fun with him again soon!

Saturday- 19th:
Parker and Ellie are just hilarious to watch as they play soccer. They laugh and talk most of the time. The ball will be heading toward them and finally one of them will snap out of it and head after it. Dolores and I laugh the entire 30 minutes. It's been so much fun to spend this time with our neighbors and friends.
