I just thought about how funny that sounds...my love for you isn't little at all.
It's your half birthday. You are one and a half! This time last year we were just getting the hang of things: adjusting to living in San Antonio, adjusting to the permanency of staying home together, figuring out how to nap and working on sleeping through the night, starting to eat finger foods and sitting up while you play. At six months, I felt like I could breathe again. I couldn't wait for the months ahead, full of milestones that I was eager to see happen. A year later, I sometimes want to freeze you just as you are now. We are having so.much.fun.together! You are all that I prayed for and more. I am completely amazed at how smart you are. You learn new words and activities every single day. Daddy and I look at one another, eyebrows raised and ask did YOU teach him that?. You're thriving, sweet boy. Everyone you know is bowled over by how cute you are, the hundreds of words you know and your super animal sounds. Parker man, if the next year is half as great as this one, I'm pretty sure my heart will burst with joy.
Celebrating with half birthday cup cakes! Yum-o!
Driving Mommy to our photo session up the hill...take 2!
The men in my life are pretty dreamy. Thank you Lord for these people. They're the best.
Eating - You're pretty chunky right now. I LOVE your big cheeks and tummy. I can always tell you're eating well when you get a little belly. You still love all the same things, a creature of habit for sure.
Sleeping - Perfect, still. Sometimes your naps are only 2 hours and other days they are 3 or even 4! It just depends all on how you're feeling, if you're tired or having a growth spurt. There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern to this...I just take what I can get and thank the Lord you crave naps and sleep.
Measurements - You're still wearing 18-24 mos clothing. Your jammies always get small first so we're moving to 24mos. At your checkup, you were 27.39 pounds and 26.2 inches tall.

Words You Say
You say ANYTHING you want to say. You're becoming a little copy cat so we definitely have to watch our mouths and make sure we aren't saying words we don't want repeated. I LOVE your effort when it comes to saying new words and phrases. You're starting to string words together! Here are a few words I love: mimis (raisins), pizzi (pizza), yaaaaay!, "bup' (what's up -- with the head jerk), nunnin (muffin), jeejee (wanting to sing Jesus Loves Me.
