Sunday - 22nd: Ahhhh, finally reunited with my boys! Feels so great to finally hold, hug and kiss my loves. My getting to them is an entirely crazy story - one of chaos, frustration, emotion, kindness and gratitude. Thankfully, Pierce took to nursing again like I'd never been gone. Oh I can't tell you how good this made me feel. My heart (and my boobs) were so much better. We spent the afternoon and evening talking about the boys and my trip and then I was off to bed. All that travel is pretty exhausting.
Monday - 23rd: Morning snuggles and then on the road and home to San Antonio. We all miss our Daddy Daniel. We'll be here just a few days before packing up for our annual beach trip!
Parker sure will miss country life.
Tuesday - 24th: One on one with my little man is always so special since it's rare. I love both my boys so much but this one is growing up fast and we just don't have as much time together so I try and spend it snuggling as much as possible. Parker and Wyatt are so silly! They're having a great time playing soccer together after school on Tuesdays.
Wednesday - 25th: Breakfast in Daddy's hat, of course. We spent the day at home and it was exactly what we all needed. While Parker napped, I snuck in a little work and then snapped my man's (late) 4 month photos.
Parker is getting so good at taking pictures. Fun for me!
Thursday - 26th: Grandmama is in Texas and she, Papa and Grana are in Wimberley for the week. Daniel took off and we drove up for the afternoon and to have dinner. Pierce was able to meet her and ya'll -- he was soooo sweet. He laughed and smiled at her and talked to her like she was his favorite lady on Earth. It was precious. Parker took his fishing pole and he and his Papa and Daddy fished in the creek behind the house. They caught fish after fish and he was just so tickled. The property they're staying on is 100% gorgeous so I'm glad I took my big girl camera and got a few shots of everyone spending the day together. I always love a chat with Grandmother and while the guys were gone we were able to sit in the living room and catch up. We're so so blessed to have 3 grandmothers between us.
Friday - 27th: I'm busy with laundry, packing and playing. We're getting ready for our trip to Florida!
Saturday - 28th: The boys soaked up the last of their minutes with Daddy for the week and we loaded my car with all that's necessary for so many days away. I drove to Navasota to drop my girls off with Chief. He watched Pierce for me while I took care of last minute to-dos and I caught him napping on the job. We're up and off early in the morning! Can't wait for that ocean air.

Week 25 | June 15th - June 21st.
Sunday - 15th: Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men in our life. We spent the day at home playing as a family and then treated Daddy to burgers and fries at Fuddrucker's. It was fun to celebrate and relax with both of our boys today.
Monday - 16th: I thought I'd be the fun mom today and take both boys to Aquatica. I went through great lengths to get up, get packed and get to the gate all by 10am only to learn that they don't open until 12 today! What the heck?! I had to kill 2 hours, change a poopy diaper and nurse in the shark tank. At least my big kid had a great time despite the fact that I couldn't really play with him. My how times have changed. I did encourage him to make friends and/or play on his own.
Tuesday - 17th: Parker went to school today while I worked on getting my bags packed for my upcoming trip to Vegas. I'm growing so anxious about leaving my sweet nursing baby behind. I get to look at this beautiful eye while we nurse. Such a sweet flirt. I love how he loves me in this moment. I certainly never loved nursing until you, baby Pierce. I will so miss our time together the next four days. Mama is coming back soon though and I hope you eat well while I'm gone but still come back to the boob, baby boy.
Wednesday - 18th: We trekked to Nav today. It's just Bek there until Mom and Dad get home tomorrow. We defrosted a bag of milk and let Pierce and Bekah practice eating together. He's pretty frustrated by the bottle. Mama will be praying the entire time I'm gone. I am looking forward to my trip and what it will mean for my business. I know leaving my sweet boys behind is the right thing to do but driving away will not be easy.
He's so patient with his Mama.
Thursday - 19th, Friday - 20th and Saturday - 21st: I attended Beachbody's Coach Summit in Vegas this weekend! I was excited to meet up with teammates and friends I met last year. This trip was good but hard. It was hard to leave my babies. It was hard to pump every three hours. I was so nervous about my milk supply, storing milk while I would be away and getting it home. It was good to have some alone time. It was good to talk with other women without being distracted by my mama responsibilities. It was great to sleep without having to wake and nurse...I stretched myself at night and slept longer than I would have at home. It was good to hear coaches speak on topics that help them be more successful though I was often distracted by the fact that it was time to pump. I spent a lot of my weekend in bathrooms pumping or in my hotel room taking care of milk. I had to ask friends to save me a seat as I arrived late to most meetings. Still, I'm glad I made the effort to attend. No regrets at all...and I can't wait to hold my sweet loves asap! Bekah was super sweet to FaceTime me daily and update me with photos of the boys while I was away. She's the very best substitute mama there is.
Proud of my hard work to look like this just 3 mos postpartum.
