Tuesday, the 30th --
Wednesday, the 31st -- Parker and I spent the morning painting pumpkins and running errands. After his nap, we shared a special treat of caramel covered apples. He LOVED it. I had a feeling that the costume Parker chose for himself just wasn't going to make it. I wanted to take a few photos of him dressed like a dog and I knew he'd be upset but I didn't quite expect the full on melt down. At the last possible moment, I decided Parker would have to be "Johnny Football". We had fun walking the streets with the neighbors but it was still a bit too much for us. Next year we will take a wagon or stroller that he can climb in and out of. We were so happy that Daddy could finally join us for the rest of our very first trick or treating adventure. Parker got to eat TWO tootsie roll pops and is no completely in love with suckers.

Pumpkins, Firetrucks and a Train
I woke to a beautiful day this morning. It was a little chilly outside, but I was excited to be taking care of a bunch of super cute kiddos. After Shelli and Robin's group, Parker joined me at Ms Robin's for a few cute photos. I LOVED all the pumpkins, but Parker preferred to carry them around instead of sit and smile.
It was a big day in Navasota today. A steam engine was rolling through town to celebrate the railway's 150 years of service. While we were waiting on the train, Parker got to look at a firetruck. I thought he'd love it, but instead there were a ton of tears!
It was so neat to see such a piece of history so up close and personal. Parker didn't love it as much as I'd hoped, but someday maybe he'll love looking at all the photos we took. I'm so glad that we happened to be in Navasota at the same time as the Union Pacific.

Camo with Chief
Saturday, the 27th -- Parker and I headed to Nav so that I could take preschool pics early next week. When we got to Cookie and Chief's house, Chief had just gotten back from hunting. He and Parker were both dressed in camo so we had to have them "cheese" for me. So glad we did...it's one of my favorite photos of my Daddy and Parker. Parker LOVES tractors and was thrilled when Chief let him "drive " it.

Boo and School Picture Day
Tuesday, the 23rd --
This morning I dropped Parker off at school and ran to vote early. I've never voted anywhere other than Navasota...the experience was a good one.
Parker and I have been really good about running together. I'm pushing almost 50 pounds, but the runs are good and we're going to work on increasing our mileage.
Wednesday, the 24th --
Parker and I spent the morning at home and when Daddy got home from work, we made our boo jugs. Some of the neighbors go all out for Halloween around here. We've been teaching Parker that it's silly and fun instead of scary and every time he sees the decor, he hollers "boo". He's loving that his "boo" light up and can be seen at night time.
Thursday, the 25th --
I had the rare chance for a lunch date with my hubs today. We got to sit down and chit chat for just a little bit while enjoying Olive Garden without having to be distracted by our Parker boy. It was picture day at school and my Parker looked soooo handsome!
Friday, the 26th --
Parker is loving coloring. Right now it's just a lot of scribbles, but I think we'll get a coloring book soon.
One of my favorite recent photos of Parker.
It cooled off quite a bit this today so when Parker wanted to go outside, I had to bribe him to wear his new green jacket. The boy does NOT like to wear layers of clothing.
We said goodbye to the high chair! Parker is now eating meals at the table like a big boy.
