We love to hit the road and not look back, but we also LOVE to be home. Feels so good after so many days away. I think we'll stay and hang out awhile.

Game Day
Daniel drove in JUST for today's game. The weather promised to be disgusting and while I really didn't want to get rained on, I REALLY wanted to just sit next to my husband for a few hours (in a row). We left Nav in time to grab a bite to eat before the game. Nothing fancy...and we sat and talked like grown ups for almost an hour. Silly, but I can't tell you the last time we were able to do that without having to stop and pay attention to Parker man. The game was fun and wet, of course. We made it back to Nave for a little play time before Daniel headed back to SA. Parker and I will be making the drive tomorrow.

Road Trippin' Fools We Are
Parker has done amazing while on the road and away from home. We've been gone almost a week! After catching a few hours of sleep, we loaded the car and headed back to Navasota. We dropped by to say hi to Bekah at the daycare and then met Hannah at the house and played like crazy until bath time. Both of us fell out when it was time for bed. We get to see Daddy Daniel tomorrow! Yay!
Ft. Worth Zoo Day
the 26th -- We hung around the house this morning and then got dressed to go meet cousin Colty. I could not wait to see my baby fall in love with his baby cousin. Parker did so well holding him! For just a minute, I wanted him to be a big brother, and soon, and then I came to my senses! Haha. We are definitely all in love with this sweet little man.
Since Parker had either been cooped up in the hospital or the house, I thought it would be fun to take him to the Ft. Worth zoo. It's so close to Sarabeth's house and is ranked as one of the top 5 zoos in the nation. I LOVE THIS ZOO. Oh my gosh, I fell in love as soon as we entered! Parker and I had a wonderful time exploring with Papa and Grana. After grabbing lunch and a stuffed elephant souvenir we were headed home to take a much needed nap.
It came as a huge surprise to me that Sarabeth and Justin would need a little backup tonight. Sarabeth wasn't feeling great and both she and Justin needed some rest before being sent home. I headed up to the hospital after putting Parker to bed and was placed on "hold Colt duty". Rough job! I curled up in a chair and tried to snooze while holding my newest sweet nephew. As much as I didn't love losing sleep, I did love soaking up these moments with him and having a brand new baby on my chest. Best feeling ever! SB and J, thanks for trusting me with your new man.

Colt Joseph Graham {happy BIRTH day} | Ft. Worth Birth Photographer
Oh, little Colt...how we have waited for this wonderful day! Everyone I know has been praying for your Mommy's pregnancy. She has wanted you for so long and FINALLY you get to join her in the world and meet everyone who loves you. Dear boy, you are incredibly loved. There is no doubt. Because of you we believe even more in miracles. Your Mama worked so hard to get you here. She was definitely my hero for the day! I am so so honored to have watched you come into the world and even more so to have been asked to have my camera in hand. Having another nephew is such an awesome thing. My Parker boy has a second cousin "brudder" to be the best of friends with. I love how his little eyes lit up with wonder when he met you and held you for the first time. It is a joy to have you in our lives and watching you grow up will be so much fun! I love you little Colty boy.
