My sisters are here again! Having visitors come every week has made this summer so much more fun!
We decided on a quick trip to the zoo today and it was much hotter than we wanted it to be. So we left, grabbed lunch and headed home for a nap before some afternoon shopping. Love my sister time and I KNOW Mr. Parker enjoys having his aunts here. He's a show stealer for sure.

A Wonderful Weekend
Friday
Today, we played. Cousins flew in from Arizona and Hayley, Jake and Tate drove up from Houston. The house was full of the sounds of silly boys.
Saturday
Shower day! We were finally able to show Sarabeth some love and support as she'll soon be a new Mommy. The nautical decor was adorable and we had a nice time meeting her FW friends. Can't wait to meet sweet little Colt.
Parker and I decided to leave and head home after the shower so that we could see Daniel. I LOVE these pictures of Parker hugging and kissing his "baby" Tate.
We pulled over for a quick snack and then rolled into SA in the darkness. Parker was once again a GREAT car rider.
Bath time at HOME...then snuggles with Daddy. Perfect.

Ft. Worth, Here We Come.
Parker and I packed up and headed for Ft. Worth today. We're helping host a baby shower for our new nephew/cousin Colt. This was our longest road trip without Daddy. Fortunately we didn't have the puppy girls either. Just me and my sweet boy. Parker did SO great. He watched movies, snacked and took great naps. We didn't stop. At all. I knew he'd freak about getting back in his seat so we just kept on driving. By the time we reached SB's house, he had soaked through his diaper. Poor man. After a quick diaper change, it was time to run around like a wild man. We both enjoyed time on the back porch...the view from SB's is incredible as the sun sets.

Bye Bye Bek And Playing With Friends
Tuesday -- This morning was a hard goodbye. Parker is starting to understand what we mean when we tell him that we're going bye bye. Bekah and Baba kissed him goodbye just before his nap so that they could get on the road while he slept. He cried and then so did Bekah. It breaks my heart when our family has to go, but it's even more sad now that Parker shows emotion. When he woke up from his nap, he searched the entire house for his Be-beh and Baba. Goodness! I got to go out with the girls tonight to celebrate Tracy's birthday. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at Yard House. Thanks so much to my Daniel for letting me slip away for a few hours.
Wednesday -- I discovered some art work that Parker made at school. Sweet little hand prints. Oh, to keep them little! Parker played with the girls today and both he and Ellie ended up in diapers. It is already so sweet to see little friendships forming between these kiddos. We are super lucky to have some great neighbors.

It's A Zoo!
Our friends Mark and Kara brought their sweet girls to town AND Baba and Bekah were visiting so we planned a day date at the San Antonio Zoo. I always love a chance to spend a day in the presence of animals! The weather was decent, not as hot as it could have been and we arrived right when they opened. First up was Parker's first train ride. He looked and looked and flirted with the girls sitting around him. This was the first time we'd been anywhere where Parker took the initiative to walk around on his own. I was very proud of how "big boy" he acted all day. We ended our trip with some wading and playing in the children's water area. It was wonderful to spend time with both family and friends today and also have the opportunity to meet the newest Miss Copeland. Oh, Mark...your hands are full, my friend and your girls are gorgeous. Later that afternoon Bek, Baba, Parker and I set off for some quick shopping. Parker is super duper spoiled with grandmothers and aunts are in town. He rode the dog at BRU and loved it. I have to admit, it is so much fun to see him have such fun! Once home for good, Parker got to strip down and cool off in the water table outside. This Mama loves little booties.
