Destin, Florida. Parker's First Vacation.

For the past few years, we've taken an all girls getaway to our favorite beach - DESTIN! The group tends to change a little every year, but no matter who goes we have a blast. Parker was about six weeks old when I packed him up for his first vacation. Having a baby meant lots of luggage and traveling in two cars. It honestly wasn't as bad as I imagined it could have been. He's a lucky boy - the first to ever be allowed on our trip. I imagine that Daddy Daniel will be with us in the future. We missed him so much!

For the most part, Parker stayed in the condo with his Baba. Occasionally, when it was cloudy and cool enough, he was able to join the girls on the beach.

For Hannah's 25th birthday, we got all dressed up and headed out in search of a yummy dinner.









On one of our last mornings there, Parker and I crept out of the condo for a little one on one date before anyone else woke up. We walked down the shoreline and back and just sat and watched the waves come in. He let me snap a few photos before deciding it was nap time.




We LOVE this trip and look forward to it all year long! Goodbye, Florida! See ya next year.
