15 Years

One week ago tonight, I sat and watched my dearest friends fade from my tv screen. For fifteen years, I've sat up until 10pm, watching the drama unfold as the ER docs save lives and lose precious patients. I've loved every moment of this show. As my old favorite characters were written off and new ones walked onscreen, I cried my eyes out and swore it'd never be as good as the original cast. It was. It is. The stories always captivate me. Thursday nights will never be the same. They can't be.
