Jodi & Matt

Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyy! One of my oldest, dearest, sweetest, friends got engaged today. Jodi's birthday is always near Father's Day so generally her family celebrates everything all at once. Her entire family [which is an extension of my own] and Matt's family gathered for a FD lunch yesterday. The only thing Jodi wanted from Matt for her upcoming birthday this Wednesday was an engagement ring. With just a few people in on the surprise, Matt faked the need to leave the lunch table for a phone call. He stood just outside the window of the table where the entire family sat and waved for Jodi to come outside to him. She grumbled. It was extrememly hot outside. What could he possibly need from her? Reluctantly, she met him outside where he proceeded to get on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOJO! You got the ring. But even better than that, you have a future husband. A companion. Someone to sleep next to for the rest of your lives. Someone to hold you and encourage you and support you. Someone to love.
